Since its foundation in the late 80's, Support Solutions has been developing software tools for managing customer support interactions and relationships, especially in IT and other technical environments.
The role of Help Desks/Service Desks has matured considerably in that period, and the sector has witnessed many challenges and changes from both technological and organisational standpoints. We have used the deep experience gained during this time - not only of building systems but also running substantial Help Desks on an outsourced basis - to continually advance our Quantum product line to reflect the growing needs of service and support operations. The list of organisations into which we have installed Quantum reads like a Who's Who of Australian business, Government and Education, plus some notable international users.
The current incarnation of Quantum is therefore a distillation of all the necessary functions - and many customer-requested quirks - that make it possible to satisfy the widely varying needs of organisations of all sizes with a single flexible, highly-configurable product.
We like to think that as a company we are very flexible and easy to deal with, too. If we had a motto, it would probably be: "Big enough to do a great job, small enough to care." We are a privately-owned company, and the principals work in the business, so there is no question of where our commitment lies.
What we do:
Provide great products at a fair price
Back our products with capable and committed staff
Take pride in the standard of support and services we offer
Listen to our customers - because they are our lifeblood
The types of client we work with:
Help Desks - Particularly IT, but any other type that involves technical or long-running problem management
Service Desks - Central contact points for managing queries, problems, and business processes of any kind
Software Houses - Quantum's comprehensive toolkit addresses most facets of running a software house, including service request management, time/expense tracking, project monitoring, support, resource management, release control etc.
What we don't do:
Promise anything we can't deliver
Renege on a commitment
"Squeeze" our clients with unreasonable charges, increases or surprises
Create "orphans" (i.e. custom modifications that could prevent you from upgrading to future releases without retrofitting the modifications each time)
